I am responsible for the generation of revenue from ProBroker members with the Networks Practice at Marsh, achieved through acquiring new members, delivery of premium to partner insurers and sale of additional business services to existing customers.By identifying broker needs, I help to develop new opportunities to expand the ProBroker proposition to ensure it remains relevant to our customers, their clients and generate new revenue lines for Marsh. I manage Marsh ProBroker accounts throughout the North of England and Scotland, central London, Channel Islands and Isle of Man.

Development of PowerPlace GWP throughput derived from their largest strategic customers; development of existing and new business strategy for delivery from this customer base, managing relationship from managing directors through to individual brokers and account handlers. My role also encompasses the identification of new brokers, system demonstration and contract negotiation resulting in commitment to PowerPlace. I am also responsible for training staff within my sales area and have also mentored other members of the sales team. Commitment to the PowerPlace organisation is sought from clients through appropriate questioning. I am able to identify opportunities and agree consolidation and commitment deals and have a proven track record in this area. In my time with the company I have established strong relationships with key business partners including the PowerPlace Support Team, Insurer Development Team, development managers and consultants, both from my own region and nationwide, local Broker Network and Countrywide representatives, Open GI and various insurers and Towergate zones.

Main duties - As a senior account manager I was predominantly field based servicing a nationwide network of Insurance Brokers. These clients represent annual revenues in excess of £2,000,000. Duties included new business sales, new product initiatives, demonstrations and presentations to existing and new clients, conducting regular review meetings, relationship management, contract negotiation and renewal, product gap analysis, pricing and business modelling, forecasting, formally responding to tenders, understanding the complexities of software and hardware deployment models.My key client's were members of the Willis Commercial Network of Insurance Brokers which comprises 100 brokers nationwide representing gross written premium in excess of £300m, transacting both commercial and personal lines business.
