Manage the day to day running of a team responsible for the digital estate and social media for a large sporting and cultural public sector organisation. I co-ordinated the social media coverage of Festival 2014, the cultural arm of the Glasgow 2014 XX Commonwealth Games.I led a team of 4 digital marketing officers and line managed 10 marketing officers covering 74 social media accounts including venues such as a Kelvingrove Art Gallery, Riverside Museum and Tramway.

Manage the marketing, design, production and print team and associated budgets.Design, manage and develop the council’s digital communication channels and strategy including external website, intranet, social media presence and e-marketing.In this role I was responsible for East Renfrewshire Council being the first in the U.K. to allow the public to access information about their services on social media. I then advised many other councils around the country on the steps and processes that were required to do this. Deputise for Communications Manager as required including one year of acting up for maternity cover.
