Nice to meet you 🤝As IBM’s AI for Business employee communications lead, I am focused on building awareness and belief in IBM’s mission in AI for business and ensuring every IBMer understands their role in its success. I joined IBM after graduating from Penn State in 2020. In different roles in both external and internal communications, I have managed day-to-day media relations for IBM’s blockchain and Internet of Things products and led global employee engagement initiatives for a shared services communications team.My experience in employee communications has sparked a curiosity about how people work, but that interest stems from a lifelong fascination with how people communicate and interact. In college, I majored in psychology and public relations because I enjoyed studying that interest from both scientific and practical perspectives. I combined these interests to complete an honors thesis about how social media messaging affects subjects’ willingness to donate after natural disasters. In college, I also ran Onward State, the world’s most-read and most-followed student publication, writing 700+ stories in four years, covering breaking news and leading a staff of 60 students as a senior.Let's talk about AI, Penn State football and wrestling, homemade pasta and cool socks.
