F/A-18 Support Equipment - Design EngineerResponsible for transition of F/A-18 A/B/C/D Operational and Intermediate S.E. drawings to the Navy RE for Zone Integration of SE, insuring proper form, fit and function.Have stereolithography models made to do an upfront design analysis / evaluation of a design with the intent of making any needed improvement to the part to better its form / fit, function and / or cost.Designed the Main Landing Gear (MLG) Tool Set to install and remove main landing gear components during repair.Attend meetings weekly with structures and subsystems in order to locate Support Equipment receptacles on the F/A-18 E/F.R.E. for the design of the ECS Cover to protect the BARD Stack while maintenance work is being performed on top of the aircraft.Write Engineering Orders ( EO's), as required to make required changes to released engineering or to release new engineering designsDesigned S.E. Adapter to flush the hydraulic pump on the F/A-18E/FR.E. for the design of the manifolds, used at O/I and D levels, to leak check the hydraulics of the aircraft.
