I have over seventeen years’ Transport Planning experience, providing management and technical inputs into a wide range of transport and development planning projects for both private and public sector clients. I was the Transport Planning team leader in the Atkins Leeds and York offices in the north of the UK until emigrating to Brisbane, Australia in January 2019 to start a new role at SLR Consulting.I specialise in assessing large complex intersections as part of major infrastructure projects, including input into economic appraisal processes towards securing funding for traffic alleviation schemes on behalf of road authorities. I also have extensive experience in accident analysis, intersection modelling and assessments, intersection design, traffic surveys and data collection. I have significant experience in preparing Traffic Impact Assessments, Travel Plans and input into Environmental Impact Assessments for major mixed-use developments, as well as providing traffic engineering advice on development applications submitted to local planning authorities.
