I designed and implemented a programme of activities for clients, based around maintaining our community garden, as well as monitoring and evaluation of the outcomes, client performance, and improvements in clients’ skills and wellbeing.Alongside team leaders at Sunnyside, we oversaw the preparation of 90,000 flowering plants for the regional council. As an expert in sustainability and motivational leadership, I managed a team of four highly-skilled Green Ambassadors to deliver sustainability education, events, and campaigns. In the three-month absence of a full-time manager I took on further responsibilities such as improving and maintaining the team’s wellbeing, developing employability skills, and reporting to stakeholders.I demonstrated excellent attention to detail in conducting monitoring and evaluation of sustainability across the university through collecting surveys, data analysis, and publishing results in a clear and accessible form. I supported the delivery of the Future Fair, the University’s first sustainability themed event, through writing website content and keeping this up-to-date through a content management system.Alongside a colleague, we engaged the public in workshops across primary schools in London, teaching young students how to plant seeds and grow herbs, as well as discussing sustainability to a varied and multicultural audience.
