    - Work with the senior executive leadership team on special projects and initiatives that they directly sponsor and provide recommendations and subject matter expertise - Led the Contracts and Budget Branch; managing 4 first-line supervisors, 9 analysts and a contractor. Managed the entire budget, 2020 Census cost estimation, and contracting process for the division and the programs that it supports; to include the Regional Offices.- Managed the closing of a telephone center that had been operational for over 30 years and employed about 170 federal employees. This project required the support and approval of the Secretary of Commerce and Congress. It cost about $1.8 million to complete and helped the Bureau save about $3.6 million a year in cost avoidance.- Served as the lead for the Census Bureau on a 5-year inter-agency agreement with FEMA. This agreement provides field staffing and infrastructure support for FEMA’s disaster relief efforts when called upon for these services. The new partnership was put into practice in 2017 by providing telephone and field support services to victims of Hurricane Harvey in Texas and Hurricane Maria in Puerto Rico. This inter-agency project involved over 200 Census Bureau employees across the country and totaled over $7 million worth of emergency disaster relief funding. - Implemented and oversee the Field Directorate’s Program Management Governance Board (PMGB) as the Portfolio Manager; made up of the senior executive leadership team and Associate Director as the Chairman. The PMGB reviews and manages high-level projects through project management and risk reviews.- Currently working with the General Services Administration and multiple divisions on relocating the National Processing Center, which is over 60 years old and about 1 million square feet. The new facility that will reduce the footprint by about 50% and increase its operational effectiveness. This project is currently estimated at $40 million to complete.
