Galerie Meyer - Oceanic Art opened in 1980 in Paris. As of 1986, the year in which I decided to devote myself exclusively to Oceanic Art, I have learned much about the works of art from the Pacific Island Cultures and their collectors. I also learned about myself and discovered that deep down I am a collector and furthermore that my collection of Oceanic Art is what is in my gallery. Therefore I only buy what I like and I only sell what I like.As of September of 2011 I have opened a new department devoted to the archaic arts of the early Eskimo peoples of the Arctic regions.
