Tapestry is a 6 billion dollar luxury fashion retailer with over 13,000 associates worldwide and parent company to Coach, Kate Spade & Stuart Weitzman.Owned accountability for material liability process where I was able to simplify work with business partners to get liabilities paid more quickly. Developed freight standards for Kate Spade brand from an actual costing system to standard costing method to fit within the Tapestry framework and unify the processes. Successfully delivered auditors the necessary information for SOX controls within SKU level data.

Streamlined workflow for Marketweek process by using newly implemented system to generate new reports that were far less complex than prior models. Developed Model for forecasting inbound freight expenses related to finished goods, based on mode of transportation for shipping, average cost per unit, and expected monthly volume. Owned model for building freight standards for standard costing model of finished product that delivered multimillion’s in freight savings across two years. Managed P&L of expenses for Design team including travel & expenses, sampling, modeling, consultant and allocation budgets; reduced days needed to close at month end from 5 to 3. Facilitated review with senior leaders for month-end close, monthly forecast, annual operation plan (AOP) and long range plan (LRP). Selected to travel to our largest distribution center in Jacksonville, Florida where I was successful in collaborating with the transportation team to develop new freight standards.

Performed opportunity analysis and presented pricing data to managers for customer requests.Lead Intern project team of four in which we analyzed the impact of price increases, and found that price increases for products with limited competition were actually hurting sales over time. Analyzed pricing data and compared different data sources such as market share, financials, and qualitative information to present pricing information to management.

Analyzed and presented Financial data for each month end close to be sent to the Executive Committee of Novartis, evaluated and commented on weekly sales forecast for Global Leadership Team, created and used Excel and PowerPoint charts to present information, drew conclusions about and discussed the state of the Global Over the Counter Market.
