This system collected data via serial interfaces, published big data to a 3rd-party cloud solution (Axeda), implemented device control, and provided reporting features.• Designed and led the software implementation of a proof-of-concept to control an operating room workflow, stream and record surgical video to a central server, and capture patient imagery.• Designed and led a proof-of-concept to allow health care professionals to organize and view surgical videos and patient imagery.
