Responsible for designing and building a brand new claims pricing and provider contracting solution for Pega's Healthcare Business which represented their largest industry vertical. This innovative product enables Healthcare Payers to rapidly design and implement both existing and radically new pricing strategies without reliance on costly developers or vendor support. Responsible for defining the product roadmap for Pega’s CRM solution for Healthcare Payers.

Consulted and advised Contact Centers and Claims Operations at the largest Healthcare Organizations (Payers and PBMs) in North America, and Europe. Provided mentorship and subject matter expertise to our European Sales Consulting team in support of their Healthcare accounts.Led the technical sales campaign which resulted in one of the largest deals in Pega history. The solution we brought to that customer drove operational efficiencies in the contact center and accountability and consistency across back-office functions.

As a sales engineer I filled three functional areas:1.) I supported Pega's Sales Consultants in configuring Proof Of Concepts (POCs).2.) Using Pega Rules Process Commander (PRPC), I designed and built an internal HR application which tracked job applicants and candidates through the interview process.3.) I supported Pega's Product Management Group by both working on new features in our product, and by suggesting features that were in demand by the industry and by our clients.My success in this role stemmed from my ability to walk into a range of situations (demo work, onsite Proof of Concepts), quickly understand the context (reading other people's code, understanding personality dynamics, etc), solve issues, and address concerns.
