As Manager of Business Analytics for this wine company, I supported the roll out and usage of analytics packages to the company. I worked on the development of SAP's Business Objects Web Intelligence and evangelization of its use. As a supplement, I also became skilled in MS SQL Server 2008 which contained many disparate information sources (example FedEx delivery statistics along with warehouse information). I leveraged this tool to detect fraudulent orders from the company's wine plans.

I was responsible for the entire companies' OPEX (call center, IVR, payment processing and customer care), CAPEX, renewal inventory performance forecasting, retention and phone marketing channel. Additional non-profit finance support for QSP acquisition.I have in depth experience with the budgeting, reforecasts, and monthly hard close process. All of these processes required developing strong intercompany relationships, presentation skills and regularly managing expectations. In terms of applications experience, I was a power user of both Hyperion Essbase and SAP's Business Objects. Being a Statistician, I was responsible for executing reporting including the profitability report, store development report, among numerous others.These reports were distributed to the worldwide development agent staff to support their territories analytically. I utilized MS Access thoroughly which connected to Oracle databases via ODBC connections. Reports were distributed in MS Excel or PDF generally. I personally worked with a number of the development agent staff to answer questions or examine data more deeply. I also provided support for development agent contracts vis a vis local population data within their territories.
