As a project engineer at FreightCar America, I am responsible for designing freight cargo car variations using CREO 9.0 and Windchill, utilizing advanced 3D modeling techniques. I validated engineering drawings, including Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerances (GD&T) and Bills of Materials (BOM), based on ASME Y14.5 standards. Additionally, I verified drawings and models through AAR and FRA Design Standards and industry regulations, and studied manufacturing lines through the Value Streams at the Castanos plant.
