This greatly expanded our network and made our services more attractive to international visitors to Japan.Tour planning/managementWorked with a team of eight guides through the use of biweekly meetings to establish popular tour itineraries and ideas for people. Used multiple data collecting methods (surveys, interviews, focus groups) to determine the trends and wishes of international travelers from various countries. Based on available resources and relationships, we were able to formally plan these tours that were both inside and outside of Tokyo. Resources/relationships included transportation agreements, partnered hotels, neighboring prefecture relationships, tour operator partners, restaurants, hot springs locations, and partnering with multiple experience-providing services in Tokyo (cooking classes, boat excursions, food tours).Managed the schedules of eight tour guides. The system developed allowed travelers to Japan to experience multiple personalities of different guides. These decisions were often made to highlight each guide’s background/expertise on an area.MarketingWorked with InfoCubic to establish a targeted SEO plan to lead the right kinds of travelers to our website.
