Cruise is an industry leader in autonomous vehicles. I made multiple hires across AV, Infrastructure and Simulation. Hires included Engineering Manager, Staff Deep Learning Compiler Engineer, Staff Simulation Engineer and Senior Software Engineers. I was responsible sourcing-to-close for key senior hires who's expertise included robotics, C++, ROS, Distributed Systems, Kubernetes, Machine Leaning, Performance, Messaging and Memory Management in a real time, safety critical environment.

Grailed is a curated community marketplace for men’s clothing (launching women's vertical soon!). Our goal is to make great clothing affordable and available to everyone. Teknominds provides tactical recruiting and consulting services to software companies. We work with founders and executives to help them plan to grow 10x, or hire elite technical contributors and management. In 2015/2016, we made 41 hires across multiple timezones, including early hires at Preact (acq. Spotify), Calm.io (Nutanix), Sano.co and Grailed.

I was hired as a Technical Recruiter and promoted to Recruiting Manager within the first 90 days of employment. Responsibilities included web platform (ROR), front-end mobile web, and mobile engineering teams (iOS and Android), UI/UX, DevOps (Linux, chef), and Customer Support. Also helped to produce monthly recruiting events and company meetups during major local conferences.

I was hired as a Technical Sourcer and was rapidly promoted to Technical Recruiter, including title changes and compensation increases.I was responsible for driving the recruiting process from sourcing the candidate, initial phone screen, negotiating salary, explaining stock and benefits, to closing the candidate. My roles included Game Developer (2D & 3D), Platform Engineer, Combat Server Engineer, Systems Engineer, Analytics Engineer, Data Scientists, Product, Project, DBA's, Customer Service, Community Management and Art.Aside from handling massive applicant volume across multiple disciplines, I also went to college recruiting events (Stanford, Cornell, UCSC), conventions (GDC, Flash Gaming Summit) and multiple meetups and recruitment events. Furthermore, I used my experience and connections in the entertainment/nitelife industry to help further Kixeye's goals of marketing, branding, & scaling in a non-traditional way.Direct Recruits included: VP of Product, Principal Analytics Engineer, Lead Game Engineer, Platform Engineer, Lead Customer Support, & 3D Technical Artist.
