Since the summer of 2012, I have been training and competing in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. In this specific martial art sport, the objective is to simply cause the opponent to "tap out" by using either a choke or a painful joint lock. Over the past few years I have been doing this amazing sport, I found that there is no failure when being submitted by an opponent, only success. Ultimately, the reason is because when I am defeated by a teammate or a competitor, it allows me to exert greater effort in achieving my goal and to fix the mistakes in my game to lead me in a path of success for my next opponent on the mat. I plan to use my Jiu Jitsu background on the mat and use them in an everyday management field to push to be the best employee and team player I possibly can be no matter what.
