I was a general laborer in my father's construction business. I learned about plumbing, electrical, framing, concrete, and other trades associated with construction. I learned about estimating a job and construction math in addition of how to negotiate contracts. Towards the tail end of my career I began to estimate jobs, and generate proposals for bids, and oversaw small projects.
