Growing up with my dad being a truck driver and working with him, I started to understand what work is. However, working with him was great when we worked on the 18-wheeler, seeing all the parts, and trying to help him without really knowing, but always asking questions and wanting to learn more and more. This followed me everywhere, asking questions and wanting to learn more, especially when working with my dad. This started my unknowing love for engineering and the desire to learn more about the field. High school is where I found the passion and loved it when my physics professor would talk about how great engineering is and even show me work, he’s done in the past and I’m still curious about how it all works. I semi-understood the work ethic I need to have to succeed in college and being in an engineering class. Now in college, I enjoy the learning process and knowing what I have to stay even more focus on getting closer to my goal while still being able to stay positive and have perseverance to keep going.
