Tony is the Chief Executive Officer of Ansh Labs. He rejoined the talented scientific and commercial teams at Ansh Labs after founding a few companies and holding numerous positions with several diagnostic innovators responding to the coronavirus pandemic. He has over 30 years of diagnostics industry experience in biochemistry and business development. For most of his career, he's developed markets for niche immunodiagnostics in endocrinology, serology, and molecular diagnostics. He has trained and led specialized high complexity diagnostic reagent teams at Diagnostic Systems Labs, Beckman Coulter, and Ansh Labs. He recently served as Chief Commercial Officer of Maxim Biomedical Inc. and General Manager of Aspirant Strategy LLC. He supported companies selected for the National Institutes of Health (NIH) Rapid Acceleration of Diagnostics (RADx®) initiative. He founded AVID Diagnostics and is a Co-Founder of AdVeritasDx.com. He led initiatives aimed at harmonizing in vitro diagnostics data collection and analysis for on-market surveillance and epidemiological monitoring for population health. AVID Diagnostics (AVID-Dx), a biotechnology and diagnostics startup, to design a digital health application and reliable diagnostics and surveillance testing program for SARS-CoV-2. The app was designed to collect data to aid local, state and national public health agencies to trending and epidemiological monitoring of infections, speed healthcare response to outbreaks, and to continuously improve our knowledge and capabilities for testing to identify and combat outbreaks in the future. He is presently Founder and CEO of Motive Biosciences Inc., a clinical diagnostic and contract research laboratory that is developing testing solutions and software as a medical device for underserved diagnostic areas in women’s health. He developed a digital health application that tracks and combines women's health and laboratory test data to generate a personalized reproductive health assessment that she can share with her physician. He previously served as the Director of Sales and Marketing for Ansh Labs from 2011 to 2018. With Beckman Coulter, he was the Group Manager for Commercial Operations of the nucleic acid and specialty immunoassay product lines from 2005-2009. He started with DSL in 1994 and held positions as Director of Technical Service, Director of Sales and Market Development, and led DSL’s Assay Automation and Service programs through 2005. Mr. Morrison received his B.Sc. in Biochemistry in 1997 and an MBA in Finance in 2011.
