At Gibraltar, I gained valuable hands-on experience in financial reporting and analysis. I generated monthly financial statements, processed utility invoices for commercial tenants and for residential apartment buildings using the innovative real estate management and accounting software platforms CTI and Yardi Voyager. I analyzed and managed both accounts receivables and accounts payables. I contacted and interacted with tenants regarding past due rents and collection matters and also contacted utility companies to turn service on and off or to change accounts to new tenants’ names. I coordinated and directed the daily deposits of tenants’ checks and then applied the credits to appropriate accounts. I evaluated and directed correspondence, inquiries, invoices, and checks as required.
