Sell to Medical Directors, Directors of Nursing, Dispensing Pharmacies, Administrators, and all staff personnel to improve resident care.• Earned Long Term Care Leadership Award Q2 2019.• Identified opportunity to help improve anti-coagulation therapy by a group of medical directors and mid-level practitioners at a large hospital system in territory. Conducted educational meetings and evening webcasts to help identify residents to switch from competitive product. The results being seen are lower cost-of-care with reduced nurse time per resident of 6 hours per week, fewer costly and harmful medication errors, and elimination of related lab costs.• Coordinated educational meeting with Medical Director of 5 large nursing facilities and his nursing directors. This led to improved anticoagulation therapy for residents under their care and resulted in lower cost-of-care, reduced resource utilization, and increased efficiency for the nursing staff.
