I was retained as the electrical project engineer to lead the completion of the power electronics systems and assist with the transition of manufacturing.- Lead and program managed the completion of the power electronics system design.-- Headed the design of the next generation power electronics sub-systems including schematic design, PCB layout, prototyping, system validation, and documentation.-- New design ensured backward compatibility with previous systems and significantly improved performance and reliability-- Leveraged relationships with electronics and equipment vendors to source parts to reduce cost and improve performance -- Coordinated design with software engineers to ensure control systems functioned to spec and delivered desired performance- Managed multiple engineers during the transfer of critical documentation, IP, and trade knowledge- Worked with process and automation engineers on multiple trips to re-establish production line in Chinese facility

Fresnel lenses were used to concentrate the sun 1200:1 onto highly efficient GaAs cells, achieving an industry leading 30% efficiency, more than double that of traditional flat plate PV systems.- Designed, implemented, and tested electronic circuits and power systems integral for control and monitoring of photovoltaic module trackers- Wrote custom DAQ software interface for revenue-grade energy meters providing system performance data to software, mechanical, electrical, and optical teams for design verification- Quickly became a system expert tasked with deploying systems in Asia, Europe, and the US- Project manager for European installation, overseeing electrical and mechanical workers from pre-construction to commissioning.
