Product Manager
CurrentAfter leaving my previous role to find a job focusing on improving the health of our planet and its people, I found Development Seed, a mission-driven organization that partners with outstanding organizations such as NASA and the World Bank. We primarily work with geospatial data; providing access to this data to create a more sustainable and just world. In my role as Product Manager and Team Lead, I lead cross-functional development teams to design, develop, and launch new products alongside partners such as NASA and the World Bank. As a Team Lead, I collaborate across the business with operations, sales, finance, and marketing on both strategic and tactical initiatives. Primary accomplishments include:1. Leading a team from inception to launch of NASA’s latest earth observation dashboard, called the VEDA Dashboard. This dashboard is now being reused across other projects within NASA and has become a focal point for progress in cloud-based development practices with geospatial data. 2. Building the product team from the ground up to establish product development practices across the organization and articulate Development Seed’s approach to product development.
