I love figuring out the “why” of just about anything.As a kid, I was known for taking apart old electronics and motors to figure out what made them work. I loved fixing things around the house, learning how to work on cars, and building things. When I was 18, I spent my summer break building a new patio/deck on my parent’s house. I designed it using CAD software, sourced the materials, and helped direct its construction. In college I was introduced to business and focused my studies on accounting and economics. I worked to pay my way through college, and learned a lot from that experience. I also worked on 3 different startups: one designing software to help solar sales and installers, one selling specialty t-shirts, and the other leveraging technology to perform retail arbitrage. Each had varying levels of success, but were amazing “real-world classrooms” for me to learn in. Today, I work with owners and operators to better understand their business and provide capital. I have worked with companies from $1M to $100M+ in revenue, helping them to grow and raise additional capital. I love helping clients achieve their goals and seeing their satisfaction. It’s always nice when a new or returning client requests me by name to manage their account since it helps me know I’m doing a great job. Our company specializes in providing private credit commercial loans within the automotive space.Outside of work, my family is my greatest source of joy. We laugh a lot and enjoy being together. We also enjoy exploring the area where we live and making new adventures. I also enjoy business and startups outside of work. It’s not uncommon for me to spend time helping friends with their business just for fun. I am a native Southern Californian, lived in Utah for college, two years in New York as a service missionary, and now call Texas home.
