Tapped to handle daily operations for a national strategic security organization composed of nine internationally dispersed direct-report staff operating across 148 countries. Develop, implement, and direct global security and safety procedures, policies, and standards for rapid global security response force as well as a formal onsite schoolhouse supporting 1,075 students annually. Accountable for managing an $88M budget and collaborating with the Department of State and Centers for Disease Control and Prevention to appropriately plan and manage pandemic risks and responses.ORGANIZATIONAL IMPACT:→During accelerated diplomatic relations between the U.S. and Venezuela, planned and directed a rare U.S. embassy evacuation. Ensured the safety of all civilians and marines in addition to the protection and security of sensitive/classified information and records.→Worked alongside the Department of State and the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) to coordinate a phased evacuation for Marines and their family members to safely return them China to the U.S. in the wake of the Covid-19 pandemic. →Established health and safety practices under the direction of the CDC and medical professionals to secure 250 students from across the country, fully complying with social distancing, personal protective equipment, and quarantine mandates.→Managed medical support, prioritized staffing needs, and coordinated logistics for international transportation of assets.
