We help youth sports clubs budget, collect and spend their money transparently through our digital banking platform. ▫ Headed engineering for an early-stage fintech startup, which included directing development, budget and headcount planning, and process management for technology.▫ Launched product pivot from a payments collection app to a full-fledged spend and collections management system with bank account and debit card procurement, achieving a total of ~$50M in transaction processing on the new platform.▫ Successful exit via strategic acquisition by Snap! Mobile. Completed remaining projects and facilitated knowledge transfers post-acquisition.

Built local teams in LA. Hired 16+ engineers and headed a team of 18 US-based engineers. Managed the following teams which handled all user-facing web functionality for the core business. Head of backend development for Wolfpack platform, which I helped build from scratch and generated $110+ million in yearly revenue. Wolfpack powered the YPSearch and YPSearch Pro products.My team, comprised of 9 onsite software engineers and engineering managers, owned the following systems among others.Media and Bulk Sync▫ All integration with external systems, Google Adwords, Bing Adcenter, Yahoo Gemini, Ask, Superpages as well as internal systems, Call Cloud, Optimization, YPSM, Yelp (through data feed), YP4B, etc.Emailing▫ Collects data, sends, and manages templated scheduled GoLive, Leads, Monthly Report, Form Fill, and other emails to advertisers. Campaign Management▫ Business logic and manipulation of all advertising campaign and account objects and parameters such as keywords, targets, contracts, addresses, domains, ctns, etc. 80+ object types.Internal Reporting▫ System responsible for downloading all performance data from external integrated APIs several times daily. ▫ Map/Reduce jobs extracting landing page and proxied websites statistics from Hadoop grid on an hourly basis.▫ APIs for charts, graphs, and table views of various performance metrics for use by the Wolfpack UI.Advertiser Reporting▫ A set of 20+ REST APIs used for retrieving performance details and analytics for advertisers such as call statistics, call recordings, form fills, keyword/ad statistics, etc for Wolfpack advertisers. Taxonomy▫ A system storing all prebuilt advertising campaigns based upon category, business service, and lines of businesses. Enabled Operations team to quickly onboard a new advertiser.Analytics▫ Integration with Adobe Omniture for tracking usage on Wolfpack UI. ▫ Built proactive optimization dashboard for Campaign Managers using analytics data extracted.YP Search Marketplace ($4M+) Campaign Management and Reporting systems▫ YPSM was YP's version of Adwords. My teams built two components for this platform.

▫ Solely developed iOs chat app, Yakaround, with a total of 26k lines of Objective-C code. ▫ Yakaround released to app store and received 60k downloads over life. Pushed 6 major releases to the app store over the life of app
