• MAK RTI: The RTI (Real-Time Infrastructure) is a networking layer based on the HLA specification provided by the IEEE and Department of Defense. The specification shows how the RTI works and interacts in all military simulations. I’m responsible for adding and debugging new features as-well as implement the new Department of Defense (DoD) specifications. The RTI is written in C++ and has a JNI layer for Java federates. I work in all sectors of programming; GUI, Networking, Multi-threading, Installer Scripts and have helped NASA engineers get there systems working with our API’s. • VR-Link: The VR-Link layer is a high-level API that sits on-top of the RTI. It’s a multiprotocol API designed to make calls to both HLA and DIS (both DoD standards) as easy as possible without removing the flexibility of the specifications. I was the Lead Programmer on VR-Link, and tasked with making decisions on features that get added, bugs that get fixed and any support from our customers.
