Successful results driven executive with over 20 years of experience in enterprise-level solutions and management.I am currently employed as the Chief Information Officer for the Carbery group which is a global leader in food ingredients and flavors with operations in EMEA, APAC and the Americas with overall responsible for all digital aspects of the group business.Prior to Carbery I spent 18 years with Flex where I have worn many hats such as leading supply chain solutions and commercial quotations for Flex GSS, leading the IT operations group spanning 15 of Flex EMEA sites, initiated and directed a BI enablement team focussed on delivering business insight to the EMEA region, led the IT Implementations group, managed large scale global deployments, IT account manager for some of their largest customers, lead architect of the cloud strategy team, developed as a functional logistics and enterprise planning consultant and at the beginning I worked as a network administrator. I also enjoyed a two year period with Johnson controls between 2015 and 2017 where I led the global Analytics and Artificial Intelligence group responsible for transforming the company into a data driven organisation and also enabling the organisation to remove significant cost through the use of Artificial Intelligence / RPA.Each of these roles were very enjoyable and allowed me to master the experience I have today. I have also traveled extensively throughout my career and continue to do so.I am very career motivated and extremely passionate about my work, I thoroughly enjoy taking a concept and turning it into something real. I am very at ease with executive/customer communication and leading large global cross functional teams. Volunteering is a large interest of mine and I also served as the Chairman of IT@Cork which is the largest not for profit technology focused organisation in Ireland representing over 300 member companies.I am an enthusiastic technologist with a focus on customer enablement and eager to connect with like-minded people.
