Working as part of the Health in Justice Business Development team, primarily as a bid writer bidding for prison healthcare contracts.My role is to research and write responses to questions set by NHS commissioners when procuring multi-million pound healthcare contracts. I have been involved in many successful bids during my employment, supporting Care UK to grow its service line and revenue considerably.Aside from bid writing, my role involves:- Market research.- Analysing previous bid performance to identify lessons learned.- Attending market engagement events for upcoming tenders.- Visiting our current services to develop our evidence-base for bids.- Writing submissions for industry awards.- Training and mentoring new bid writers recruited to the team.- Managing our third-party document collaboration software and licensing.- Involvement in other projects, including being redeployed to co-ordinate and order PPE for Care UK's primary care service line during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Sales Superstars is part of Growth Engineering, and I'm responsible for building the brand. I run the blog and social media accounts, creating and publishing all of the content.One of my biggest projects has involved reaching out to some of the biggest names in the sales and marketing industry to interview them for profile pieces on our blog.I also help with designing the website and all other promotional material.At Sales Superstars we offer high-value, fully-online sales and marketing training, catering to all levels of experience.The training is all accredited by the Institute of Sales and Marketing Management, so by completing it our learners earn internationally recognised qualifications to prove that they've developed their skills.

Worked on community management, focused on social media engagement. Kept the Twitter and Facebook accounts updated, researched how to target content to relevant communities and coordinated with editorial team and management to develop social media strategies.A successful stint of work experience led the management to ask me to return for a paid internship. My work on the Facebook page was of particular note, as engagement increased significantly and the page’s growth accelerated.

I started at the Maidenhead Advertiser for one week’s work experience and was soon offered a five-week paid contract as a trainee reporter.I was responsible for the Twyford Advertiser, which involved finding and writing enough Twyford news to fill the first four pages of the paper. This included front page leads.This forced me to make contacts quickly and to develop a good sense of an area I previously knew little about.

I started contributing to The Mancunion in my second year of university, and in my final academic year I was one of the News Editors. I wrote more than fifty news stories over the twenty issues, as well as giving stories to contributors and editing them when they were written. In addition, I was responsible for putting stories onto the website, including finding appropriate images, and was responsible for setting the pages of the news section using Adobe InDesign.My extensive work on the paper has gave me a great deal of insight into journalism and allowed me to develop skills in writing for newspapers, researching stories and interviewing people.My work can be found here:http://mancunion.com/author/anthony-organ/
