Duties include: financial reporting, budget setup, funding requests, cash management, expenditure monitoring, reconciliations, maintenance of system records, preparing and entering budget journal vouchers, evaluating and initiating corrections and reporting material variances. Other relevant duties: analyzing and projecting costs, revenues, and forecasts in support of budget plans, taking economic/legislative impacts into consideration; approval of proper budget and category of expense; ensure compliance with departmental, institutional, and/or state, local, or federal agency policies, rules, and regulations.
