This entails licensing the intellectual property, establishment of Enterprises and/or creating and organising finance/capital for spin-off companies.o Raise awareness and support the development of a greater focus on and understanding of commercial considerations and imperatives amongst staff in the University. Mentor and coach staff to achieve successful business outcomes and ensure that the advice and tools are available and used by staff to engage effectively in commercialisation activities; Key achievements:o Generated over $5 million of industry and government funded contract research and consultancy projects since 2011;o In particular, generated a steady annual growth of commissioned research income for the Arts portfolio of 100% since 2011;o Created multiple Enterprises see below. -
