Tony Paprocki, AIA, NCARB, LEEP AP, is the owner and Principal Architect of Anthony D. Paprocki (ADP) Architecture, located on Boston’s North Shore. ADP Architecture focuses on creating simple design solutions for complex lifestyles, which are efficient, flexible, and environmentally conscious – regardless of scale and budget. With a background in Science, Educational, and Residential Design, Tony has a strong interest in how people use space, and how architecture can support individuals and improve the way they interact and engage with one another and their surroundings. Through his work in planning, programming, and design for numerous project types, he has developed an appreciation of the unique challenges and fluid needs of modern buildings, and has crafted a unique perspective on the experiential potential of how architecture can be used to reinforce community and advance the goals of his clients. Tony is also a member of the faculty at the Boston Architectural college, where he has been an instructor and advisor in the Master’s Thesis Program since 2008, and was recognized by the Boston Society of Architects in 2019 for his commitment to excellence in teaching. He also currently sits as a member of the Swampscott Zoning Board of Appeals, and is an advisor to the Science Education to Enrich Development Advisory Board. Specialties: Programming, planning and design for residential and community projects as well as life sciences and engineering research laboratories - including core spaces for teaching laboratories, imaging facilities, seawater research, and shared instrument cores.
