Founder, Gun For Hire, America's Urban Defense Institute since 1992 Gun For Hire was started to promote the positive aspects of safe and responsible firearms ownership. At Gun For Hire, we offer professional, one-on-one instruction for individuals from all walks of life. During these lessons, we will teach the student all aspects of firearm safety, firearm selection, handling, shooting, cleaning, and storage. We offer this private instruction in our new state-of-the-art facility in Woodland Park, NJ. After just a few short hours with our professional instructors, you will be able to safely and confidently handle a firearm. For any student who has taken our basic lesson and has been shooting for more than six months on their own, we offer Advanced Weaponcraft. The student will spend all of their time in the range, where they will receive intensive, one-on-one training on stress situations, malfunctions, night shooting, barricade shooting, multiple targets, and high speed reloads. This is NOT for the novice but when you have completed Advanced Weaponcraft, you will be able to confidently handle a firearm in a self-defense situation. We are always striving to meet the demands of the law-abiding citizen in the war against crime, so we are now offering our 2-hour seminar on Home Invasion Defense. During this seminar, we will cover all aspects on how to prevent an invasion, how to "harden" your home against an invasion, and how to handle an actual invasion should it occur.
