As an occupational therapist it is my pleasure to interact with a wide range of individuals, each of whom have a uniquely remarkable story. These interpersonal relationships are the core of my practice philosophy. I love helping others and being a witness to the progression and joy that comes from achieving goals. Goal achievement does not come without sacrifice and effort. I believe that as a therapist, it is my responsibility to lead with empathy and compassion. I believe in hard work, innovation, and inter-professional team collaboration, and that the best therapeutic outcomes are achieved from the efforts of the client and health care team working together. My greatest strengths are interpersonal communication, collaborative team work, problem solving, compassion, empathy, and quickly building trust with all those with whom I work. As an occupational therapist I have been able to use those strengths in assisting individuals in a collaborative effort to return to meaningful activity and living life to it's fullest.
