Nexans employs 26.000 people and had sales in 2016 of 5.8 billion euro.Nexans Services is serving as a hub for cash pooling and is the main partner of the Group entities for treasury activities such as Foreign Exchange and Money Market Transactions and Bank Relationship.Main Responsibilities:• Optimized the group’s cash management on a daily basis in 13 currencies (transactions for approx. 10bn EUR equivalent per year).• Developed a fixed-to-floating bond swap model in order to reduce financing costs.• Worked on a pricing and impact analysis of hedging instruments strategies (forwards, options, interest rate swap) in order to suggest the best option to entities of the group.• Analyzed the global FX risk exposure for all Nexans entities (+- 30 currencies) and implemented corrective actions.• Executed all FX transactions, Money Market transactions and other derivatives for entities of the group (around 10bn EUR equivalent per year).• Participated in the analysis for funding and investing operations of the group (Certificates of Deposit, Liquidity funds).• Responsible for FX reporting: Forecast of exchange rates (based on macro-economic research).Assisted in the preparation of the FX Academy of the group (creation of several training documents).• In charge of the yearly certification of the SAP portal (interface for the entities of the group).
