I create iOS and tvOS apps for my clients using Swift and Objective-C. My clients have included TallyGo and STARZ Entertainment.

I provided senior leadership in the creation of award-winning mobile and web apps for iOS, Android and Windows Phone. I contributed to the creation of robust server architectures, physical computing, security and development infrastructure. My clients include NBCUniversal, Jell-O, Kraft Mac & Cheese, American Express, Old Navy, Best Buy, Windows Phone, and Dominos Pizza.

As the chief technology officer, I created and managed the technology group within Tuft and Co. This included working closely with the creative director to define new services and to strengthen existing interactive services. I consulted with clients and managed all technical areas and development on projects including programming, system architecture, infrastructure, security, database, and solution services on large-scale projects for clients such as Time Warner Cable and Adobe Systems. For Tuft and Co., I published eleven iPhone applications. I also managed the Colorado office and the personnel located there.

As the end-to-end solutions architect for the access management organization within Level 3, I managed the overall scope and architecture for projects developed in-house as well as the selection and implementation of commercial applications and third-party custom development, including offshore development. I worked closely with the business sponsors to elaborate on business requirements and to determine the architectural approach for each project.I am committed to the entire life cycle of projects, including the gathering and analysis of business requirements, determination of project scope, definition of system requirements and architecture, implementation of key sections of code, guiding the work of systems analysts, supervision and mentoring of development teams, coordination with application testing, system testing, training, system administration, project management and production support.My projects have included quoting and costing applications, order management software, automation of provisioning tasks, and application integration. Improvements in service activation software have resulted in shortened provisioning times from 120 days to within 5 to 30 days, a savings of up to 96% for Level 3. I was the lead architect and manager for access services application development and designed the access management tool and off-net routing and costing applications. In this capacity, I managed a team of five developers.

I performed object-oriented software architecture, analysis, and design; requirements gathering using the Rational Unified Process (RUP); and documenting requirements using UML, Rational ROSE and Requisite Pro. As a senior developer (team lead), I led the development of applications for eBusiness projects and mentored other developers. These applications were developed using open-standards architectures such as Java, CORBA, RMI, and HTML.In a previous role within Nortel, I served as the project leader for application development efforts for the Advanced Internet Solutions team. My activities included application requirements gathering, object-oriented analysis and design, coordination of team responsibilities, applications development, test plan development, and documentation for external clients including the Dallas Cowboys and the Indy Racing League.

I created and designed business proposals, print advertising, graphic design, and other promotional materials.

I served as a police officer for the City of Dallas, Texas. I learned more about human behavior and interacting with diverse populations than I have even learned prior or since. I would not trade this experience (nor repeat it) for anything.

As an instructor in the theater department, I taught sound design courses, supervised the practicum and work study programs, and served as the department's master electrician for various productions.
