Working alongside the Project Managers with responsibility for the implementation of key infrastructure components in support of major IT projects and business change through the successful management of multi-disciplined technical resource. Successful implementation of a major project to integrate map services applications onto a single platform.

Managing the business as usual operation of the IT network function including design, implementation and network operations (NOC). Responsible for managing the employee performance review process in line with business milestones.

Managed the design, implementation and operational teams in support of a multi-client network infrastructure based in the UK and offshore in India. Responsible for transferring the IT network function from Cap Gemini back to Vertex.Successful offshoring of the Network Operation function to work intrinsically with the UK based teams.Responsible for the introduction of the first WAN acceleration products to the business, providing service improvement and operational cost saving in the region of £500k for a major client.

IT network design and implementation consultation on a number of large scale business process outsourcing deals for various clients including Westminster City Council, Legal & General and Littlewoods. Managed small team of design consultants as team lead where I was involved with the transfer of the function to Cap Gemini as part of a TUPE process.

Working within the IT Network Services team delivering design, implementation and support activities within the campus infrastructure.Involved in a major transformation project to migrate network infrastructure onto a single platform.Involved in the planning and execution of a number of large scale office moves at the Radbroke Hall site, coordinating internal teams and 3rd party contract staff to deliver results with minimum impact to business operation.
