I am the CEO at Origo Services, responsible for connecting the financial services industry for the benefit of everyone through services such as the Origo Transfer Service, the Origo Integration Hub, Unipass Identity, Unipass Mailock and championing the creation of Pensions Dashboards for the UK.The Origo Transfer Service enables the transfer of pensions, ISAs and general investments. The service is now used by ~120 pension & investment companies, processing ~50,000 transfers per month. It has reduced average transfer times from 53 working days to 9 calendar days and has transferred > £200 billion of pension pots since its launch in 2008.The Origo Integration Hub supports integration between financial adviser software and platforms / providers. New trading relationships for processes such as account opening, valuations, transaction history and transfer tracking and can be established more quickly and cheaply than point-to-point integrations. The Hub is rapidly becoming the de facto method of establishing new trading relationships.Unipass Identity is used by 8 out of 10 financial advisers every day to authenticate themselves on line and gain secure access to financial service companies' back office systems. Unipass Mailock is our new, unique encrypted email service which can send emails of any size securely, with automatic read receipt and a recall function which makes the email disappear. It also has a unique way of ensuring ONLY the intended recipient can open it.Origo has been at the heart of the Pensions Dashboard initiative, working with government, the pensions industry, identity professionals and others on DWP’s proposed digital architecture. We remain a thought-leader and we anticipate playing a key role in the industry solution.I'm also a Director of Scottish Financial Enterprise, the representative body for Scotland's financial services industry.
