I am a young sports broadcaster with a wide range of experience in the industry. I recently graduated from the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication at Arizona State University with a bachelor's degree in Sports Journalism and a minor in Community Sports Management, and am now pursuing a Master's of Mass Communication. During my time at ASU, I have been heavily involved in extracurriculars at the Cronkite School, including Blaze Radio, Walter Cronkite Sports Network, and the StreamTeam. I formerly co-hosted a weekly sports talk radio show on Blaze Radio, ASU’s student radio station. I have also broadcasted games for several sports as a play by play and color commentator and was selected to represent Blaze at the Pac-12 Baseball Tournament in 2023 and 2024.I worked as a contributing writer for AZPreps365 in the fall of 2021, covering Paradise Valley football, through a partnership between the Cronkite School and the Arizona Interscholastic Association. I've previously covered ASU Softball and ASU Women's Lacrosse, ASU Men's Hockey, and ASU Baseball, for Walter Cronkite Sports Network, a student media outlet at ASU. On the production side, I have learned and experienced many of the different roles in both a studio and in a live setting with opportunities from Varsity Sports Show, the Pac-12 Network and ASU’s StreamTeam, a team of students who produce a live stream for Sun Devil Athletics events. This year, I am focusing my academics and extracurriculars in production, graphic design, and photo opportunities, including Cronkite's Video Production and Graphics Lab for my capstone professional program. My long-term career goal is to be involved in a broadcast setting in some way, whether in play-by-play, radio, TV, or otherwise, but I am open to any and all opportunities within sports. I am currently seeking internships or part-time work in broadcast, sports production, writing, and sports administration fields.
