Directly responsible for ensuring DCUC’s overall operational effectiveness and the Council’s continued growth as the principal trade association exclusively championing the interests of all credit unions serving the U.S. Armed Forces and our nation's veterans worldwide and representing over 37 million credit union members. In this capacity, successfully advocates for the Council on various Legislative and Regulatory proposals; bolsters the Council’s emphasis on financial education; increasing revenue streams; and spearheading the Council’s 5-year plan

Responsible for overseeing and guiding the day-to-day operations of the Defense Credit Union Council. The Defense Credit Union Council is a premier defense trade association representing the interests of credit unions operating on military installations worldwide with over 180 credit unions and 23 million members. Duties include: Directing and coordinating the overall internal activities of DCUC in accordance with the vision, mission, goals and objectives established by the President/CEO and the Board of Directors. Leads and directs the following functions: operations, finance and investments, membership, business development and management, conferences and meetings, and internal and external communications. Assists the President/CEO in the development of organization policies and strategic goals that cover operations, personnel, financial performance, and the growth and sustainment of the functions mentioned above. Responsible for the professional development of assigned personnel.

As Mission Support Group Commander, I serve as Mayor, City Manager, Chief Magistrate and Emergency Management Director for a remote and isolated military installation (i.e., small municipality) supporting the USAF’s Global Hawk mission and over 3,900 personnel and family members.The Mission Support Group is subdivided into Seven Support Squadrons (providing the following services):1. Civil Engineer Squadron (Fire and Protective Services, Public Works, Heating and Ventilation, Power Production, Architecture and Design, Environmental Protection)2. Communications Squadron (Cyber Defense, Telecommunications, Internet Security, and Information Defense)3. Contracting Squadron (Procurement and Acquisitions, Contract Administration, Purchasing)4. Force Support Squadron (Human Resources, Military Personnel, Civilian Personnel, Manpower, Education and Training, Morale Welfare and Recreation, Child and Youth Services)5. Logistics Readiness Squadron (Transportation, Supply, Fuels, Installation Deployment Management)6. Operations Support Squadron (Air Traffic Control and Landing Systems, Air Traffic Control Tower Operations, Radar Approach Control, Airfield Management, Aerospace Ground Equipment, Weather, Base Operations)7. Security Forces Squadron (Law Enforcement, Installation Defense Force, Military Working Dog Program, Investigative Services, Firing Range)

Concurrently served as the Chief Financial Officer and Budget Director managing an $20 billion annual budget in support of the U.S. Air Force’s rapid global mobility mission. Air Mobility Command operates out of 35 locations world-wide with over 133,700 active duty, Air National Guard, Air Force Reserve and civilian personnel.

Served as the 4-Star Commander’s personal representative to the command staff, Headquarters Air Force, the Office of the Secretary of Defense, the Joint Chiefs of Staff and senior military & foreign officials around the world. Air Combat Command operates more than 1,300 combat aircraft at more than 50 locations world-wide with over 98,000 active duty and civilian personnel.
