VOLVO is an international vehicle (cars, buses and trucks) manufacturing company. •Successfully executed a project planned over two years for delivering all the parts (prototypes and series parts) designed to being assembled and tested for around sixty trucks (Volvo and Renault mixing brands) into 3 different plants (2 in France and 1 in Belgium)• Attended to weekly meeting with project teams, factories and design teams about the project progresses, identified possible and uncover risks and defined an action plan • Managed and assisted a dozen of supply chain employees to meet the project needs through managing their portfolio around forty suppliers each one, for a total of more three hundred references.• Created and kept updated the KPIs over the project life and defined the PDCA associated while an issue arisen • Worked closely with multidisciplinary teams: supply chain and warehouse personnel to manage prototype shipments. Results : The project (over 100M€ budget) was delivered on time and Volvo got the Euro6 certification. Therefore, VOLVO Trucks was granted to sell its new trucks by the time the certification was set up.

It develops ink depending on the clients’ needs.• Created a 1-year study plan to synthesize 10 different improved polyurethanes; drafting specifications, developing synthetic routes, benchmark testing (IR, GPC, NMR, UV, SEM, SPM, etc)• Formulated and developed new range of inks based on the improved polyurethanes produced with appropriate additives • Modified the material and the synthesis as needed, to meet customers’ requirements through interaction with Sales Department to determine quality specifications of the products)• Drafted and released safety procedures about handling and managing hazardous materials in the lab• Provided support to the Production Unit in the implementation of the new reactor for scale-up synthesis (yearly polyurethanes’ production >500T).Results : The novel and improved polyurethanes developed reduced the amount of the material needed in the formulation, lowered the price (estimated saving 15%), and addressed new markets.
