As a Brick Specialist at LEGO, was responsible for the following:-Provided a world-class experience for store guests by representing LEGO Brand core values.-Supported a clean and stimulating environment by performing daily opening/closing duties and LEGO brand store visual merchandising.-Maintained an intimate knowledge of a complex, ever-changing product line.-Inspired 'The Builders of Tomorrow" through in-store events such as Mini-Builds, LEGO Life meetings, and Annual LEGO Play Days.-Displayed My Own Creations (MOCs) in store showcases and during in-store activities.-Co-managed the store's 3000SF stockroom, located in the MOA's commercial delivery dock area.

While continuing the Lead Instructor duties, the Assistant Area Manager (ASM) is responsible for marketing camps and enrichment classes, including researching and pursuing the best opportunities for new programs in the area. Initiates contacts with new clients and pursues opportunities for expansion of Play-Well programs in the area; sets up client relationships for programs. Schedules programs with clients based on client analysis, enters programs in database accurately and in a timely fashion. Orders marketing materials and requests email blasts needed for the area The ASM maintains relationships with Play-Well clients, including recreation departments, after-school programs, other program sponsors, and parents.The ASM serves as the main contact for all activities in the area; supplies program information to program sponsors and parents; answers questions and responds to client and parent/guardian concerns. Additional responsibilities include area staff planning and classroom evaluations, recruiting and reviewing prospective applicants, and management of Play-Well's local material resources.

I was personally responsible for scouting Play-Well, initiating contact with the company, and ultimately establishing the first Play-Well programs in Minnesota. Our future goals are to expand beyond the Twin Cities to the major metropolitan centers in Minnesota.At Play-Well, we teach kids K-5 engineering through systematic play with the LEGO System. Projects range from simple brick modeling to advanced mechanical assemblies. We use LEGO Technic components including Power Functions, LEGO pneumatic systems, and Technic gears and pullies to create a wide range of simple machines. In the process, we teach kids STEAM basics such as structures, assemblies, elementary physics and various types of energies that power our world. Most importantly--we encourage kids to experience the cognitive, physical, creative, emotional and social skills they develop through LEGO play.

-Established MNDW workshop at the Twin Cities premier Five Star drum shop. Performed walk-in repairs for the store, as well as restorations and repairs for MNDW’s own clients. -I re-purpose and re-combine both vintage and contemporary drum hardware, shells, and finishes to create one-off drums that leave people scratching their heads with regard to the drum's origins. Not only do they look great--they sound great too!-Through collaboration with wood shell makers, drum hardware vendors, plastic wrap suppliers, and metal finishers to identify novel materials and methods, I create unique, custom-designed snare drums and drum sets.-I research and develop new techniques, materials, tools and jigs to make restoration processes more efficient—all aimed at maintaining the original object’s authenticity.-Represent MNDW at regional and national vintage drum shows to promote its products and services.-I am considered a local and regional expert on the restoration and history of the Ludwig Drum Company and its products from the mid-20th century to the present.

-Managed and oversaw all design and production staff in the USD 282M development of a 2000-unit, 18-hole residential golf community in suburban Baku, Azerbaijan. -Communicated on a daily basis between PDI’s Korean and American principals and the developer’s Turkish, Azeri and Emirati staff. -Interacted with, and served as liaison between, the developer and PDI’s fifteen project consultants.-Responsible for the conformance of PDI's and our consultants' presentation materials with the developer's contract requirements.

Maintain store displays and vitrines.-Ensure product on the selling floor is kept to visual standard.-Co-managed the store stockroom. Keyholder to secured tenant storage areas and store stockroom.-Assist in the receiving and pricing of merchandise. Maintain schedule of new product roll-outs. Notify store management of potential shortage situations.-Maintain the stock room to LBR standards. Know and abide by all safety regulations for guests and staff. -Train stockroom personnel in best practices.

-Project Designer for traditional country houses and urban residential renovations in Minneapolis, Wayzata and Dellwood, Minnesota. -Other projects include a swimming pool complex and new clubhouse for various private golf clubs in Minnesota. -Responsible for all aspects of project design and administration, particularly the authenticity of detailing within a traditional framework.

Project design and administration for residences, apartments, and commercial architecture in Minneapolis, Ames and Dawson, Iowa. At Conway + Schulte Architects, Anthony was instrumental in developing the firm’s residential portfolio and was responsible for the firm’s residential project execution and marketing.

Anthony was an active participant in Larson Brenner's design-build residential, commercial and memorial architecture. During his tenure, he acted as Associate Project Designer for a majority of the firm’s design-build residential projects, working directly with Principal Ron Brenner on over fifteen houses. He also supervised staff architects in production of project documents. Anthony was given the unique opportunity to develop and implement design of the Stillwater Veterans Memorial, participating in every aspect of project administration; from committee meetings, to ensuring that all Veterans’ names were spelled correctly on memorial plaques. He also contributed to the firm's conceptual designs for a number of planned residential communities, from suburban infrastructure to residential design standards handbooks.

Taught first and second year Architectural Design Studio. Developed radical course pedagogy using syllabi titled ‘The Architecture of The Other’ and ‘Poetry in a Pop Can’, in which students investigated objects outside the realm of architecture in order to discover and re-imagine concepts related to their ultimate assignment--the design ‘A Dwelling of Minimal Means.’
