I specialise in employment law and am a Consultant at SBM Legal. I also have expertise in issues to do with fraud, particularly in the employment context.I provide a personal and pragmatic service based on my clients' particular needs in any given situation.I act for both employers and employees in employment matters (with an emphasis on health, education and infrastructure sectors) , as well as corporates and individuals in fraud matters.I have been involved in preparation and presentation of various seminars on current issues in employment law. I also have an interest in sports law and am a member of ANZSLA.I commenced with SBM Legal in May 2018. Prior to that I was with Chen Palmer Partners from 2013 to 2018. Previous experience includes four years as a prosecutor for the Serious Fraud Office and two years as a legal officer for NZPSA. I also lectured in law at Waikato University for five years including employment, fraud, crimes and education law.
