Anthony Santomauro is a Director with Alvarez & Marsal’s Corporate Performance Improvement practice in New York.Most recently, Mr. Santomauro served as the Release Train Engineer (RTE) for a Salesforce health cloud implementation for a large healthcare client. He established the agile delivery framework to build, test, and deliver the Salesforce solution; structured the Agile Release Train (ART) across eight scrum teams (~100 staff); established the agile delivery toolset for controlled work item management and progress reporting (Jira, Confluence, and EazyBI); facilitated program increment (PI) planning sessions to coordinate delivery plans every 10 weeks; managed risks, actions, issues, and decisions across the ART through scrum of scrums sessions and progress readouts; and coached scrum team members on agile delivery best practices.Previously, Mr. Santomauro designed a shared services operating model for a mid-size industrials client. He performed current-state activity analyses, detailed the future-state organization design, and developed an implementation plan with a change management strategy. The new shared services model identified $3.5 million in annual cost savings.Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Santomauro began his career in the Operational Risk Department at Morgan Stanley in New York where he served as an agile product owner for the Firm’s proprietary Operational Risk Scenario Analysis application. Under Mr. Santomauro’s guidance, this 10-person squad completed rapid projects to improve the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the Firm’s Scenario Analysis, AMA Capital, and Stress Testing programs. Projects delivered by Mr. Santomauro included business process rationalizations, enhanced workflow and data capture capabilities, and implementation of capabilities to eliminate offline manual processes previously performed by risk managers.Mr. Santomauro earned a BBA in finance from Villanova University.
