As the Senior Director of Events and Curricular Partnerships at Parsons School of Design, I coach and manage a team of seven across the Curricular Partnerships, Galleries, Academic Communications, and Event departments. I lead the production of 5-7 annual events for internal and external audiences, hosting up to 5,000 attendees. A significant part of my role involves creating and implementing processes and systems that support over 75 events, 6+ gallery exhibitions, and 10+ curricular partnerships annually across 32 programs in collaboration with various stakeholders. Additionally, I manage curricular partnerships, working closely with external partners to establish contract terms, ensuring projects benefit students and align with institutional goals. I also provide strategic guidance to the leadership team of our Academic Communications department on campaigns, strategies, and communication initiatives.

During my tenure at the Clinton Global Initiative (CGI), I co-led the Annual Meeting, a prestigious event that brought together 1,300 global leaders from various sectors, including heads of state, NGOs, and high-profile corporate representatives. I also led the CGI Winter Meeting and Planning Retreat, managing events for up to 500 global leaders and 60 C-suite executives. In my role, I directed the run-of-show and production schedules, oversaw internal and external event production, and managed two event assistants. With a focus on efficiency, I developed and reconciled event budgets exceeding $1 million, coordinated security plans in collaboration with the U.S. Secret Service and private vendors, and guided the design of event branding materials. Additionally, I handled internal coordination, developed on-site staffing roles, and crafted briefing documents for senior leadership, ensuring seamless communication and event execution.

At Haymarket Media, I managed over 50 events for MM&M Magazine and SC Magazine, including flagship events like the MM&M Awards and SC Magazine Awards. I oversaw both live and virtual events, supervising the production of 4-6 virtual webcasts and eConferences monthly. I handled all production elements, including A/V, venue logistics, catering, attendee management, and more, while developing marketing strategies that leveraged social media, email campaigns, and direct mail to promote events. I consistently achieved a 100% success rate in meeting event lead generation goals for sponsors, with attendance ranging from 400 to 2,000 participants. Additionally, I built event platforms, award entry systems, and reservation systems for major conferences using tools like Cvent, Eventsforce, and Unisfare, while ensuring seamless virtual environments for SC Magazine and MM&M events.
