Additionally, I had direct management of fifteen electrical technicians with responsibility for day to day plant operations and serve as the primary point of contact for our customers. Throughout my tenure, I utilized and refined many manufacturing processes such as MESH, 5S, and Lean to optimize our safety and efficiency as an organization and proactively provide best practice communications to the seventeen other locations throughout the United States. My facility was consistently the highest performing location in the country with over 55% manufacturing profit.One of my top priorities was to spearhead safety initiatives such as DuPont STOP in an effort to keep utilizing a continuous improvement framework and to further employee engagement at all levels of the organization through various teams and activities.Finally, I pioneered a new order management system for all panelboard and switchboard shipments to improve on time performance, forecasting, and weekly linearly to prevent the dreaded end of month "hockey stick" effect. This practice was subsequently rolled out to all satellite locations as a best practice to help drive consistency throughout the organization.
