This includes using tools such as Adobe Connect and WebEx to facilitate industry specific seminars, webinars and product training. I also deliver customized on-site training to individuals and groups in office settings, boardroom and training labs. In my fifteen years of training, I've seen it all. I've done training in open cubicles, in tiny offices, in hallways, in every conceivable type of boardroom, in training labs, outdoors and even from my car.I work closely with business and product stakeholders to keep abreast of changes to our products and services, ensuring I take the time to understand and contextualize product enhancements in the light of customer needs. While I'm at it, I advocate for our customers, ensuring their voices are heard during product development meetings.Working closely with sales stakeholders during the sales cycle is a big part of my job. Being able to clearly articulate the value propositions of our products and services in high pressure sales meetings and product demonstrations in a variety of settings and across our customer segments is something I excel at.In addition, I design, voice and produce video tutorials and how-to videos for our products using Camtasia with a particular interest in how new e-learning platforms will transform how we deliver training content in the future.In a perfect world, trainers don't exist, because we will have developed the perfect product that is so intuitive and so easy to use, that users can just jump in and swim confidently. Until that happens, great product trainers are needed to bridge the knowledge gap and close the loop between software, developer and user.
