- Overall in-charge of new product design development from proof of concept to final prototype using CAD Software.- Designs test jigs/fixtures and builds prototypes for functional testing and mechanical analysis. - Produces final detailed and assembly drawings; operational instruction; functional simulation; presentation, and product specification. - Researches and develops ideas/concepts and processes for new products.- Collaborate with suppliers and purchases parts and equipment.- Plans marketing initiatives for the product.

- Initiates projects with the objective of improving plant performance through work method improvements, Kaizen, lean manufacturing, and /or cost –saving concepts.- Analyzes Plants' performance (KPIs) and formulate necessary initiatives to improve performance.- Conducts productivity trainings using IE tools and techniques to Manufacturing.- Researches, develops and enhances training modules for productivity with manufacturing-wide value.- Researches and consolidates best practices being implemented in Manufacturing- Initiates benchmarking activities within and even outside of URC BCFG Manufacturing (can benchmark with sister companies, other comparable industries, etc.) - Initiates implementation of best practices and consolidates and monitors implementation in applicable areas.- Reviews, improves, and updates the Standard and Allowance Book including direct labor & variable overhead- Creates and maintains master recipes for all SKU’s and Plants in SAP.- Arranges plants’ operating budget review with the Manufacturing Director and Corporate IE Manager.- Consolidates and analyzes total plants’ operating budget and recommends revision prior to review by the VP for Manufacturing, Supply Chain and Technology.

- Searches and forecasts new technologies, manufacturing processes, product designs, and materials that will help improve design and/or generate cost saving.- Plans and generates project schedule for necessary evaluations and tests needed for the project.- Coordinates to design engineering, suppliers, manufacturing sites, and other involved parties for the evaluation and implementation of the project.- Conducts evaluations required for the project up to completion of the final project objectives.- Generates regular updates and final report of every project for documentation.

- Be involved at early design stage to ensure the final product meets the design rules and the customer requirements.- Assesses and ensures the manufacturability of a new model/product. This includes all areas of production from auto insertion to packaging.- Identify and resolve manufacturing issues before product reaches mass production stage.- Ensure accuracy of the Bill of Materials and all Mechanical Drawings.- Generates FMEA, control plans, and conduct statistical methods to ensure manufacturability of every new product that will run. - Make work instruction sheets for production.- Design and procures special tools, equipment’s and jigs that will fool-proof and ease up operation. Evaluates and maintains jigs and fixtures.
