I've been involved in the insurance industry since I started helping my dad, a well-respected Minnesota insurance agent, with menial office tasks, i.e filing, at age 9. Wide-eyed and eager to learn, I watched my dad closely. Over the years I observed his passion for the industry and care for clients, as well as his exhaustive knowledge of the industry. All of it stuck. In 2012, after interning with, Comprehensive Benefits, Inc., my father’s company, I joined Sailer Benefit Services ready to put all I had absorbed as a fourth-generation insurance agent (my great-grandfather worked in the industry, too) to use. Since then, I’ve built my business base by working hard and protecting my clients’ best interests. I’ve earned a reputation for helping individuals understand their options, particularly within the complex realms of medical insurance and Medicare. It’s safe to say my father is very proud.My history in insurance is rivaled only by my history on the ski hills. I’ve spent many seasons tuning and repairing skis at Afton Alps, and love to take a few ski or snowboard runs whenever time permits. Shooting trap, golfing and fishing also rank high on my extracurricular interests, as does volunteering to serve malts during the State Fair with the North Suburban Kiwanis Club.
