I consider myself a bit of a unicorn to any potential employer because I’m unique and quite rare a find. I am a jack-of-all in a good way, able to create a beautiful photographic image, lead a team to success, speak to large groups, train large groups, be IT support, build my own furniture and even completely remodel a bathroom, to name a few. I may not be an expert in all these areas but when I take on a challenge, I finish well and generally get near professional results. I am definitely a hands-on person, not afraid to get dirty. I get energized by the people around me, making me a great team player and strong in social situations. I find I perform best under pressure and love to problem-solve. Got an angry client? Send them my way! I tend to get bored by redundant work and enjoy a changing environment. I prefer to work smarter and not harder, which usually leads me to building spreadsheets, processes or using apps that make tasks easier for not only myself but the team. I am capable of attention to details but do prefer to delegate the details to others more suited. I am loyal, caring, passionate, malleable, a good communicator and naturally decisive. According to the Culture Index, I am a “Trailblazer” and CareerExplorer calls me rare in many of my characteristics compared to the majority of others. I’m looking for a career that can give me the opportunity to use my strengths, continue to learn and improve myself and contribute to making our team successful.
